In this particular example, which I consider to be a mid-level restoration, there were several things that needed to be done to properly restore the image:
 

	Remove various marks and stains.
	Adjust the coloring to remove the yellow cast.
	Improve the overall image contrast.
	Crop the image for an improved composition.
