In this particular example, which I consider to be a low-level restoration, there were a few things that needed to be done to properly restore the image:
 

	Repair emulsion tears in print surface.
	Remove handwriting.
	Improve the image contrast and coloration.
	Slightly rotate and crop the image for better composition.
